The Simple Reset

A one-day strategy retreat for small teams

The Simple Reset is a one-day strategy retreat designed for small business and leadership teams. Through guided exercises in core values, vision planning, and goal setting, your team will step away from the daily grind to gain clarity, alignment, and a shared 90-day plan.

What makes this retreat unique? No two teams will come from the same industry. You'll sit among a diverse room of local leaders. The hope is to create space for fresh thinking, cross-team collaboration, and new local connections that wouldn’t happen anywhere else.

This retreat is also just the beginning. The Simple Reset kicks off a 12-month rhythm of clarity and accountability, with one full-day reset and three half-day quarterly connections (Jan 28, Apr 29, Jul 29) to help your team stay focused, aligned, and moving forward all year long.

Practical. Personal. Purpose-driven.

Schedule Snapshot

What if we don’t have 8 people?

That’s okay! Teams of 4, 5, 6, or 7 are welcome. The experience is designed for small teams, and many businesses bring whoever makes sense for this kind of strategic work (leadership, department heads, or a core group of decision-makers). The price is per team (not per person), so you’re welcome to bring up to 8.

Can we send a mixed team from multiple departments?

Yes! In fact, that’s encouraged. The retreat is built to strengthen internal alignment, so pulling together leaders from different parts of your business: marketing, operations, finance, client service, etc. that can spark some of the most valuable conversations.

Will there be Wi-Fi?

Yes. The LCU Baker Conference Center is equipped with guest Wi-Fi. We’ll provide the access details on-site.

Can we bring our own materials or laptops?

You’re welcome to bring laptops or tablets if that’s how your team prefers to take notes or organize ideas. That said, all necessary planning tools and printed materials will be provided, and many teams find that stepping away from screens helps them think more clearly.
